Federico Manca

Biography

Federico Manca began his musical studies privately before pursuing his academic training at the Conservatories of Cagliari and Genoa. After completing his conservatory studies, he attended the advanced piano course of Andrea Lucchesini at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. He is currently continuing his studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo. In April 2020, he was selected as one of the winners of the #contestAFR and, in September of the same year, performed at the Sala Casella on behalf of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana as part of the concert series “I Giardini della Filarmonica AFteR.” In May 2021, he was awarded the Absolute First Prize at the Ugo Amendola Competition, and in 2022 he won the Second Prize at the Orbetello International Piano Competition.
