Hyelim Kim

Biography

Hyelim Kim is a prize-winner at major international piano competitions including the Clara Haskil and Hastings International Piano Competitions. She made her orchestral debut at the age of ten with the Filarmonica ‘Mihail Jora’ Bacău and has since performed with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, the Gürzenich Orchester Köln and the Orchestre de Picardie. Hyelim has appeared across Europe at renowned venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the Kölner Philharmonie, Flagey Brussels, and TivoliVredenburg Utrecht, and has also been invited to festivals such as Piano Folies du Touquet, the Festival de Saint-Riquier, and Musica Nigella. Her mentors include Georg Friedrich Schenck, Claudio Martínez Mehner, and Nina Tichman.
