Biography

Marco Ottaviani established himself on the international concert scene by winning the Schumann Prize at the Rospigliosi Competition at the age of sixteen. Among his many distinctions are prizes at the La Palma d’Oro Competition and the Donzdorf Prize, as well as First Prize at the Roma International Piano Competition – in the Chopin and Emerging Pianists categories, 2025 – the Villafranca Piano Competition 2025, and the Murai Grand Prix in Croatia 2024. He is actively engaged in chamber music performances in Italy and abroad and regularly collaborates as a soloist with leading orchestras. He studied at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro and at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris. He is currently studying with Natalia Trull and Luca Rasca at the Accademia del Ridotto, and with Lovre Marušić at the Gustav Mahler Academy.
