Miyu Shindo

Biography

Miyu Shindo was a finalist at the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition. Her performance career has taken her to numerous cities in Japan, the USA, Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, China, Spain, and France, including appearances at the Festival de Musique de Menton, among others. She has performed with the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the New Japan Philharmonic, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Central Conservatory of Music Orchestra Beijing, among others. She won First Prize and the Audience Award at the International Piano Competition “City of Vigo“, and the Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, as well as Third Prize and the Audience Award at Kissinger KlavierOlymp. She was also awarded the Kirishima International Music Festival Prize 2017, and the Grand Prix at the Osaka International Music Competition.
