Pietro Fresa came to prominence in 2017 with his debut at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3. In the same year, he received the Medal of the Chamber of Deputies during the European Music Festival. He studied at the Accademia Pianistica di Imola with Boris Petrushansky and continued his studies at the Royal College of Music in London on a scholarship, under the guidance of Dmitri Alexeev and Sofya Gulyak, graduating with honors in 2020. He has since embarked on an international career, performing in prestigious venues and concert series such as the Musikverein in Vienna, Steinway Hall in London, Bologna Festival, and Musica Insieme, and has taken part in major international competitions, including the Telekom Beethoven Competition in Bonn, the Dublin International Piano Competition, and the Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition.
